Previous Packaging Specifications
Until now, the ARK Tour Case has been delivered with the following secure packaging.
- Full coverage with air bubble wrap (protective cushioning material)
- L-shaped cushions protecting all edges and corners
- A heavy-duty corrugated cardboard box covering the entire case
With this three-layer structure, we were able to deliver products safely under normal shipping conditions. However, to further reduce impact during transit, we have now introduced additional protective materials.
■ Details of the New Upgrade
With this latest improvement, we have newly adopted the following two enhancements in addition to the measures mentioned above.
- A 2 cm–thick resilient sponge layer covering the entire surface
- Plastic reinforcement pieces (corner guards) to protect the corners of the cardboard box
With these enhancements, vibrations and impacts to the tour case itself can now be absorbed more effectively. This upgraded specification provides even greater peace of mind, especially for long-distance international shipments.

■ In the unlikely event that damage is found upon arrival
Although we take great care in packaging, damage such as scratches or dents may rarely occur due to impact during transit. If this happens, please contact us by following the steps below.
[1] Take photos and/or videos of the damaged area.
Please prepare the following three types of materials. (*For each item, both photos and a short video of approximately 10 seconds are required.*)
- Photos and a video of the damaged area (such as scratches or dents)
- Photos of the packaging materials around the affected area (both inside and outside)
- A photo of the shipping label showing the delivery details and tracking number
📌 Important: Please do not discard the main unit, packaging materials, cardboard boxes, or labels. Keep them in storage, as they may be needed for future investigation.
【2】Contact via email
Please attach the above photos and videos, clearly state the details of the damage, and contact Cosmos Trading via email. After review, the person in charge will guide you through the next steps.
【3】Confirmation with Japan Post and issuance of damage certificate
Upon receiving the damage report, we will contact Japan Post to initiate the issuance process for the Damage Certificate. In some cases, a post office staff member may personally inspect the actual damage condition. The following items will be required at that time:
- The damaged main unit and packaging materials.
- Identification document or ID (In this context, it likely refers to a government-issued ID, such as a driver's license or passport.)
- Shipping label
- Photos of the damaged areas
After verification, Japan Post will issue a damage certificate, and we can proceed with the compensation process.
