“If I order an amp case, when will it arrive?”
This is the question we receive most frequently at COSMIOS.
Especially from customers who choose sea freight,
“I received the tracking number, but there haven’t been any updates for two weeks. Is my package okay?”
We frequently receive inquiries like this.
So, in this article, we will take an in-depth look at the entire process from ordering an amp case to delivery, based on the actual shipping records of two orders delivered to our customers.
Example 1: Sea Freight
Order Date: April 5
Each amp case is individually made to order after we receive your order.
Once completed, the package was handed over to China Post on April 19.
According to the tracking history,
- April 19 — Accepted by China Post
- Export customs clearance in China
- April 20 — Dispatched from the Qingdao (QINGDAO) International Exchange Office
- May 18 — Arrived in Japan (Kawasaki-Higashi Post Office) and underwent customs clearance
- May 19 — Successfully delivered to the customer in Miyagi Prefecture
That was the overall delivery process.
It took approximately 44 days from the order date to delivery, and approximately 30 days from shipment to delivery.
“Tracking Has Stopped!” Is Normal.
This is the period that causes the most concern for customers using sea freight.
After leaving China, the tracking information may not be updated for nearly four weeks.
However, this is not unusual.
While the package is being transported by sea to Japan, no new tracking information is registered with either Japan Post or China Post.
Therefore,
“Has my package been lost?”
Some customers may be concerned that their package has been lost, but in most cases, it is simply in transit by sea, so there is no need to worry.
And once it arrives in Japan, the tracking information is updated all at once, and the process moves forward quickly.

The tracking information is then updated, and the package is typically delivered within 1–2 days.
Example 2: EMS Air Freight
Order Date: July 16
This is an example of an order shipped using the EMS air freight option.
The tracking history was as follows:
- July 23 — Accepted by China Post
- Same day — Dispatched by air from Weihai (WEIHAI)
- July 28 — Arrived at Tokyo International Post Office
- Customs clearance
- July 29 — Arrived at a post office in Tokyo (delivery was unsuccessful because no one was available to receive the package)
- July 31 — Successfully delivered to the customer
That was the complete delivery process.
It took just 15 days from order to delivery, including the manufacturing period, making this a remarkably fast turnaround time.

Not only does air freight significantly reduce transit time, but orders placed with the EMS air freight option are also given priority production for expedited processing.

Size Requirements for EMS Air Freight Availability
Air freight is not available for all amp cases.
Due to airline size restrictions,
Only amp cases with a total of 130 cm or less for length + width + height (including bottom casters, Head Amp Cases, and 110 models) are eligible for EMS air freight.
For eligible products, the EMS air freight option is available for an additional **JPY 3,000** when placing your order.
Larger amp cases are shipped by sea freight.
